Huckabee's Fair Tax is the Answer?

I saw Mike Huckabee on FoxNews this afternoon discussing the Fair Tax and he makes a lot of sense. He said change to the Fair Tax could unleash $13 billion of investment that is being prevented by the current tax code. That is a massive market stimulus that could really bring back the economy. He also cited, with the increasing use of Earned Income Tax credit type "tax cuts" under Obama, that soon a majority may not pay any income taxes at all. If we let the left engineer a system where 55-60 percent don't pay any taxes at all to the federal government, it will make it politically almost impossible to sell Reagan 2.0 to the public.

Perhaps Reagan 2.0 should INCLUDE the Fair Tax?

You're right,if they would only have a consumption tax and do away with all the other kinds of taxes,but Obama's making the same mistakes that caused the Great Depression and the Jimmy Carter malaise.
With Obamanomics We'll go broke,somebody needs to explain to him that you can't spend your way out of a Recession,you can only spend your way into a Depression.
It would make what you buy cheaper because you're paying the taxes that the people that are making the things you buy are paying.
